After spending 8 years living and working on the South Coast of NSW, Australia, Kate Summerville returned to the Isle of Man in 2018 with her young family. Educated at Ramsey Grammar School, Kate gained her BA(Hons) Fine Art from the University of Leeds in 2007.

Primarily a painter, Kate works with watercolour, ink and acrylics with the occasional foray into ceramics. Her art practice explores the sea and its inhabitants through the use of pattern, texture, colour and motif.
