About the event

We are very excited to be able to re-start re-schedule and most of all invite you. to join us for an exciting opportunity to attend an evening in which James Franklin talks about the some of the fascinating and important Manx folklore behind the art works. Meet the artist: Mark Kinrade.

Why did the Lil’ Fellas punch a sleeping girl in the eye? Why are Manx giants waiting in caverns under the ground? Which Manx saint stabbed a Viking raider through the heart? This is also an opportunity to meet the Artist behind the photographs Mark Kinrade

’Whispering in the trees’ at the Isle Contemporary art gallery in Tynwald Mills, re-starts Thursday 2nd July and runs till 27th July and is supported by Isle Contemporary + Artreach Studios

We look forward to welcoming you to the gallery and our latest exhibition, light refreshments will be served  - a wonderful way to spend an hour or two learning more about Manx Folklore and view the Mark's photographic depictions.

Isle Contemporary, The Courtyard Tynwald Mills, St Johns

Alternatively our opening hours are Wednesday - Sunday 1pm - 5pm.
