Traditional Manx folklore is being shown in an art exhibition quite unlike anything seen before. ‘Whispering in the trees’ is the new exhibition of 40 original works by Mark Kinrade which capture the dark and mysterious spaces from which traditional Manx folklore springs.

About this Event.

Isle Contemporary are delighted to announce an extraordinary debut exhibition by photographer Mark Kinrade. Exploring the mystery and heritage of our ancestral tales, Mark’s captivating imagery takes the viewer on a journey of discovery, as though we were peeping back through time itself!

’Whispering in the trees’ at the Isle Contemporary art gallery in Tynwald Mills, previews Sunday March 15th until 19th April and is supported by Isle Contemporary and the Isle of Man Arts Council.

We look forward to welcoming you to our latest exhibition, with complimentary drinks and snacks - a wonderful way to spend an hour or two on a Sunday afternoon where you can enjoy an array of colourful, expressive works of art, light seasonal refreshments & more.

Opening hours are Wednesday - Sunday 1pm - 5pm.
